Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Train In Norman

NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a deadly crash involving a train and a pedestrian on the south side of Norman, Tuesday afternoon.

According to authorities, the crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Cedar Lane, between 12th and Classen. Crews had to shut down Classen while they worked the scene. They say the train will remain stationary until the investigation is concluded.

The victim's identity has not been released at this time.

Right now this incident is being investigated as an accident. No other information has been released at this time.
