Pair Of Personal-Injury Accidents Send Four To Hospital

A pair of personal-injury accidents occurred in Oklahoma County overnight.

The first occurred on I-40 eastbound at May in Oklahoma City, involving a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer. The driver, 37-year-old Tiffany Smith, was transported by EMSA to Baptist Hospital. Smith was admitted in fair condition with internal, arm and leg injuries.

The driver of the second car, Harry Lofton Jr. was transported by EMSA to OU Medical Center with multiple internal and external injuries. Lofton, driving a 1996 Mercury, is listed in critical condition.

The second incident occurred early Tuesday morning on I-44 at N.W. 23rd in Oklahoma City. Christopher Westfield, 34, was transported by EMSA to Baptist Hospital and admitted in fair condition with a leg injury. According to police, Westfield’s 2007 Chevy pickup departed the roadway and struck a retaining wall before heading back on to the highway and hitting a barrier wall.

Sacha Cox, 36, was also taken to Baptist Hospital with a head injury, but not admitted.
