Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight has announced his plans to transfer to Texas A&M via Twitter on Monday.

“I have made the decision to play my senior season for the Texas A&M Aggies,” Knight (@trevor_knight9) wrote. “I am extremely excited for the opportunity that Coach Sumlin and his staff have afforded me and look forward to making my last year of eligibility a memorable one.”

“I look forward to coming back and watching my brother Connor play during his senior season for the Sooners and seeing all of the people I love and care about. I know one thing for certain, that I will always bleed crimson. So farewell for now Sooner Nation and BOOMER SOONER! And hello Aggieland, let’s have some fun! Gig’em!”

Knight appeared in six games for OU this season collecting a pair of passing touchdowns and one on the ground. Baker Mayfield won the starting quarterback job and led the Sooners to the College Football Playoff while finishing fourth in Heisman voting.

Texas A&M lost two highly-ranked quarterback prospects to transfer this year, one of which – Kyler Murray – is headed to Norman to join the Sooners.
