OHP: Body Of Missing Country Music Singer Found

PONCA CITY, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that crews have found the body of missing country music singer, Craig Strickland.

The OHP's Marine Enforcement Division recovered Strickland's body Monday morning, within the original search area known as Bear Creek Cove.

Strickland and his friend, Chase R. Morland were both reported missing on Sunday, December 27, 2015, while on a duck hunt at Kaw Lake in Kay County, Oklahoma. 

The pair's capsized boat was found that day. Morland's body was recovered from the lake Monday, December 28.
