The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the search will resume Thursday at Kaw Lake for a country music singer from northwest Arkansas.

Craig Strickland, 29, has been missing since a boat he was in capsized on Sunday. Strickland is part of the country rock band, Backroad Anthem.

The body of his friend, 22-year-old Chase Morland, was recovered from the lake on Monday.

Family members and friends are praying Strickland will be found alive.

Cross Church Minister Greg Jones released a statement to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, saying, "The Stricklands are dealing with a traumatic situation and as a result are hurting but their faith and resolve remains strong."

ET reports nearly 100 people attended a vigil on Tuesday at a Fayetteville, Arkansas church.

Craig's Backroad Anthem bandmate, Toby Freeman, told another publication that Craig's dog had been found safe and sound.

"Craig's dog being found alive is a very good sign," said Freeman. "That's a piece of hope that we're actually clinging on to."

Craig disappeared after he and Morland went duck hunting on Kaw Lake in north central Oklahoma.

Craig's wife Helen thanked people for their prayers on Twitter: "We are overwhelmed with the love and prayers we have received."

The OHP says two dogs from Missouri trained to find submerged victims will help with the search on Thursday.
