KAY COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Emergency crews have recovered one body and are searching for one hunter who went missing at Kaw Lake in Kay County, Oklahoma.

Kay County sheriff’s office contacted the Oklahoma Highway Patrol at about 9 p.m. Sunday after they learned that two hunters became missing at Kaw Lake sometime over the weekend.

Authorities identified the deceased as Chase R. Morland, 22, of Van Buren, Arkansas.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said emergency crews are still searching for Craig M. Strickland, 29, of Springdale, Arkansas, but have suspended Monday's search due to weather and fading light.

Search efforts will continue Tuesday morning. Troopers said no personal floatation devices were in use.

Gellco Outdoors released a statement on its Facebook page, confirming that one of its employees had died.

Popular Arkansas band, Backroad Anthem, posted a statement to its Facebook page Monday morning, identifying one missing hunter as its member, Craig Strickland, and the other one as Strickland’s good friend, Chase Morland.

The band was scheduled to perform in Oklahoma City on January 4. Authorities found the two’s capsized boat at 12:16 a.m. Monday, but they were not able to find the hunters. Search for the two was suspended at about 2 a.m. and resumed at about 6:30 a.m.

A post to Chase Morland's Twitter account stated, "In case we don't come back, @BackroadCRAIG and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma. #IntoTheStorm."
