Police arrested a Tulsa man after he allegedly stabbed a woman during a confrontation between neighbors late Friday.

Officers said they were called to the Courtyard Apartments in the 4300 block of South Garnett just after 11 p.m.

Police learned Mitchell Griffith, 57, had confronted the victim for being "to loud' going up and down the stairs near his apartment.  A short time later, when the victim along with several others came down the stairs again, police said Griffith was waiting and began swinging a pocket knife.

Officers said the victim was stabbed in the hip and arm. EMSA took her to the hospital.  There is no word on her condition.

Griffith was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  Jail records show his bond was $15,000 with a court appearance set for January 4.
