What has to be one of the strangest and certainly most infuriating cases that have made headlines lately, has taken another bizarre but not all-together shocking turn.

The Fort Worth-area teenager, Ethan Couch, who killed four people in a drunk driving wreck, has now skipped out on his probation and disappeared with his mother.

This is the kid who's rich dad hired an expert to testify in court that the then 16-year-old boy was suffering from "affluenza", that their great wealth had kept him from learning that actions have consequences.

The judge gave him 10 years probation, told him to stay away from alcohol and and set him free.

Well a recent online video appears to show him at a beer party, not drinking, but near the action and after that he skipped his probation meeting and he and his mother disappeared, perhaps fearing he might be facing prison time.

The Tarrant County sheriff suspects mom and son have skipped the country, rather than face the consequences of his own actions.

This is a kid who court observers say never expressed any remorse, nor said he was sorry to the victims families.

He should have done jail time, even if it was in the juvenile system, enough to make him understand he's not above the law.

Now, when they're caught his mother needs to get the same message.

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
