An elderly woman's Christmas wish comes true thanks to a little bit of help from Santa's helpers.
“Dear Santa, You may think I’m dumb. I’m 84 and live alone. Could it be possible that you would bring me a Chihuahua pet?”
All 84-year-old Ann Upton wanted for Christmas this year was a puppy. Her letter pulled at the heart strings of a local postal worker who stepped in to help out. With the help of a local animal rescue she was able to find a Chihuahua for Upton.
“You have your own dog and it loves you and you love it,” said Upton. “Everybody is somebody’s Santa Claus somewhere in the world.”
Upton’s new friend’s name is Lady Bug.
Upton said she is happy she’s not alone anymore.
