BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

Broken Arrow Police say a man died after a rollover crash in a stolen SUV late Wednesday.

Officers said the Infiniti SUV was reported stolen from a QuikTrip at 91st and Aspen at about 11:15 p.m.

An officer en route to the scene spotted the SUV driving at a high rate of speed east on New Orleans. He turned around but lost sight of the SUV. He asked drivers at a nearby intersection if they had seen the SUV and they told him it was still headed east. Police found the SUV wrecked near Lynn Lane and New Orleans.

Officers said it appears the driver lost control after hitting a curb and the SUV rolled several times, throwing him out of the vehicle.  They said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the SUV's owner had left the vehicle running when she went into the convenience store.

The name of the suspect has not been released.
