Sand Springs Police arrested three men early Wednesday morning who they say took a man's SUV then returned it.

Officers said the victim had left the keys in the SUV outside his home in the 600 block of West 47th Place. When he noticed his Explorer was missing just after midnight, he got into his truck to go look for it. Just as he was about to leave, he saw his Explorer pull up to the curb in front of his house, then two men got out and ran to a waiting car.

According to police he tried to block them in with his truck but the men rammed it and drove off.

A short time later, a Sand Springs police officer spotted the damaged car and stopped it on Highway 97 near Highway 412. Police arrested three suspects identified as Shelby Stockham, 23, Adam Wilson, 19 and Jonathan Dodrill, 22.

Police said the men had taken tools out of Explorer but officers found them at the place where some of the suspects live.
