OKC City Council Votes To Ban Panhandling

Oklahoma City council members have voted to ban panhandling in the medians.

The ban on panhandling passed by a vote of 7-2.

The vote of "yes" will effectively prohibit solicitation from the roadway. This includes firefighters collecting money for the MDA.

The ACLU and several non-profits oppose the ban.
