My 2 Cents: US Strategy Against Terrorism Attacks

I give law enforcement tremendous credit for foiling untold planned terrorist attacks here.

But on the other hand, federal bureaucrats seem to be uncertain about what to do next exactly when we need decisive leadership against an enemy that wants to murder Americans.

The President last night said basically, what we're doing is working, but according to a CNN poll, two thirds of Americans say our strategy against ISIS isn't working.

After Paris and now San Bernardino, we're reminded again if you see something say something.

There are more and more people in San Bernardino who had suspicions about the shooters, but didn't say anything.

"See something, say something." I went to the Homeland Security website, it says DO NOT report suspicious activity through this website.

It says report suspicious activity to local law enforcement, but only call 911 in an emergency.

That helps a lot right?

How about a new 3 digit number for national security tips?

Not hard.

"See something, say something?"

Last night, the President stressed that we must not turn on each other.

Does that mean don't report your neighbor even if you think they're engaged in suspicious activity?

Mixed signals abound.

And now we're told a new terror threat level system is in the works. Don't tell us, show us. Since Paris, you couldn't figure it out.

We don't have time for this...
