OKLAHOMA CITY -

Thousands of little girls will be unwrapping "Hello Barbie" on Christmas morning. But, there are some serious privacy concerns regarding the toy.

Barbie has gotten a 21st century makeover, but she may put children at risk of getting hacked. The doll can talk with children similar to how we can talk to Siri on our iPhones and the conversations are stored on a card.

Security experts with "Bluebox Labs" put the "Hello Barbie" to the test. They found the entire process could be hacked, and servers where the speech is stored were vulnerable to fake security certificates.

Mattel said it is working with "ToyTalk" about Hello Barbie's security issues to ensure children remain safe from any possible breach.

"ToyTalk" claims it's already fixed some of the issues "BlueBox" found. But still this is yet another sign parents may want to be cautious about Internet-connected toys.
