McCLAIN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

One man is dead and another is behind bars after a family feud. It happened late Thursday night in Rosedale in Southeast McClain County.

"We have a mom, dad, a daughter and a granddaughter and their two boyfriends," McClain County Detective David Tompkins said.

Investigators said they all lived together including John Trejo and his wife, their daughter, her boyfriend as well as their granddaughter and her boyfriend.

However, late Thursday night an argument broke out, and things got physical.

"There were arguments and altercations between the daughters and the boyfriends," Tompkins said.

That's when detectives said the couple's daughter went to Trejo for help.

"The daughter woke up the dad," Tompkins said. "He came in there."

He had a rifle hat somehow went off and hit another person.

"During the altercation the gun discharged striking one of the young men," Tompkins said.

Kyle Jackson, 22, was shot and killed. Trejo was taken into custody and is now facing second degree murder charges.
