OKC Police Identify Teen Killed After Crashing Into Lake Arcadia

Oklahoma City police have identified a teenager who was killed after crashing his vehicle into Lake Arcadia on Tuesday.

The crash happened in the 7000 block of E. Memorial Road. According to police, 16-year-old Joshua T. Jones was driving westbound on Memorial Road when he lost control of his car, causing it to roll and flip several times.

The car ultimately ended up partially submerged in Lake Arcadia, police said.

Firefighters were able to pull the boy's body from the passenger’s side door. News 9 learned that Jones was headed to class at Edmond Memorial High School just before the crash.
