From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Broadway and 33rd in Edmond should be treated as a 4-way stop as Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) crews reconfigure the traffic signals in that intersection.

ODOT began construction in this busy intersection back in July.  The plan is to widen Broadway to three lanes from two and add some left turn lanes.

Northbound lanes of Broadway will shift to the right. If you're going south on Broadway, there will be only one left turn lane to go east on 33rd.

That's the same story if you're going north on Broadway and turning left on to 33rd.

ODOT expects this project is to be finished by July 2016. Until then, your best option is to avoid the intersection by using Bryant or Kelly.
