The search is on for a metro man who was last seen four days ago in the Midwest City area. He left without enough clothes to stay warm and could be delusional without his medication.

His family doesn't believe there is foul play involved.

The last few days have been surreal for the parents of 19-year-old Brenner Wolfe.

“You see this stuff and never think you’d be a part of it. It could be something big and it could be something that’s not big at all. It could be everything and it could be nothing. And so you are kind of hung there balancing that out and it’s tough,” Greg Wolfe, Brenner’s father, said.

While they're trying to balance the not-knowing, they're staying busy with the search. Monday afternoon, they walked a wooded area on a relative's property.

“We found the little fort that he’d made over a month ago and there was really no sign of him being there,” said relative Jack Fry.

Brenner loved the outdoors, but he did not have the proper equipment to handle the recent ice storm when he was last seen on Nov. 26, Fry added.

About 40 people are working to find him, some in town from Arkansas and Texas. A search headquarters is set up at a church in Midwest City.

He was last seen walking near E. Reno and Douglas wearing jeans, a dark jacket over an OSU windbreaker, and an olive green ball cap. His vehicle, cell phone and ID were left at home.

And his parents said he left without his medication.

“He took nothing with him, nothing to stay warm and have no idea … no idea where he could be,” Shannon Wolfe, Brenner’s mother, said.

“If somebody does see Brenner, just know that he’s a kind young man, very considerate, loving. This is not a situation where someone needs to be afraid. He just has some circumstances where he needs some medicine and we need to find him quickly,” Greg said.

The family plans to hit the streets to continue their search Monday night looking in gas stations and park bathrooms, where he may have gone to get out of the cold.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Midwest City police at (405) 739-1306.
