Norman Police Seek Person Of Interest In Campus Corner Shooting

Norman police released photos of a person of interest in connection to a shooting that happened at Campus Corner.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of Chimy’s Cerveceria, located at 529 Buchanan Avenue, around 1:50 a.m. on November 14. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and later released.

Witness reports indicate that the incident began as a physical altercation and ended in a shooting. Several persons of interest have been identified and interviewed.

However, detectives need the public’s assistance to identify one person captured on surveillance video. He is considered a person of interest at this time.
