Residents in Yukon are cleaning up frozen trees and debris from the weekend ice storm.

The city of Yukon is asking residents with storm damage to reduce its size down to less than six feet and to neatly stack the debris parallel to the street within ten feet of the curb line. Also, the debris should be several feet away from items like trash carts, mail boxes, gas meters, and overhead obstructions.

Officials say once weather conditions improve, residents who would like to quickly remove their storm debris can take it to the transfer station located at 501 Ash Ave. At this time, the disposal of storm damage is free.

Drop off hours are Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For more information contact Sanitation Services at 405-354-4317 during normal hours of Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
