Storm Producing Icy Weather, Flooding Continues To Pound Oklahoma

The freezing line is approaching the west sides of the metro. Oklahoma City will likely stay just above freezing Friday afternoon, but slick spots are still possible.

Roads worsen the farther west of I-35 you go.

Central Oklahoma will drop just below freezing this evening and overnight. Freezing rain and sleet are likely during this time. Roads will deteriorate during this time. As temperatures warm Saturday morning into midday roads will become less hazardous.

A Winter Weather Advisory is still in effect through Saturday morning for the OKC metro. Areas west are still under an Ice Storm Warning through the morning as well.
