SULPHUR, Oklahoma -

A homicide investigation is underway right now in Sulphur and a sex offender is behind bars in Tulsa.

One man is dead after a shooting in Sulphur. It happened Saturday night after police said two men got into a fight over a poker game.

A suspect was arrested a short time later. No names have been released.

Now to Colbert where a man was shot by a police officer Saturday night and later died. Police said they were attempting to arrest Christopher Nichols when he ran. Nichols then hit an officer in the face, and an officer shot Nichols.

That officer is recovering. We're told Nichols had warrants out for his arrest because of outstanding traffic tickets.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is investigating.

A sex offender is in jail after being caught outside a school playground. Andrew Rodiger recently moved to Tulsa from Missouri, but police said he never registered as a sex offender.

We're told he was watching children play outside when he arrested.
