Police: Metro Teen Attacked, Suspect Takes Cellphone

A suspect is wanted in a violent attack on a metro teenager. Police said the beating was over a cellphone and hope newly released security video will lead to an arrest.

A 16-year-old was attacked at a gas station near NW 39th and Portland.

Oklahoma City Police said the suspect punched the victim 10 to 15 times then stole his cellphone.

Anyone with information about the suspect may be eligible for a cash reward.

Clerks at the Valero said the two boys are in the convenience store frequently. Though, Oklahoma City Police called the attack on the 16-year-old victim unprovoked.
