OKLAHOMA CITY - Temperatures are slow to cool Friday evening but will quickly drop overnight as a strong cold front moves through. The cold front should be in the OKC metro by midnight bringing in gusty north winds of up to 40 mph with just a slight chance of rain.

Temperatures will drop to the low 30's Saturday morning. Skies will clear quickly and we will see lots of sunshine with a breezy north wind by afternoon. The highs will only make it to the mid-40s. The wind will diminish in the evening but temperatures will still be cold.

By Sunday morning, we will see the coldest number of the season. Lows will drop to the mid-20s! Highs recover in the low 50's later Sunday afternoon under sunny skies.
