Thousands of Oklahomans won't go hungry this winter, thanks to students at Bishop McGuiness High School.

Statewide, more than 230 schools competed in this year's "Students Against Hunger" drive. The Regional Food Bank says for the 11th straight year, Bishop McGuiness is the winner.

Students there collected more than 90,000 pounds of food this year. That will provide 75,250 meals for hungry Oklahomans this season.

Since the 80s, Bishop McGuinness students, parents and faculty have donated more than 1.1 million pounds of food to the national food bank.
