It’s almost the weekend, so now’s the perfect time to start preparing fun things to do.

The Thunder play on Friday and Sunday. Then there’s always the Devon Ice Rink downtown. And both OU and OSU are playing home game against ranked opponents in what is sure to shape the outlook of this year’s College Football Playoff.

But here are some other ideas to keep your weekend packed with fun plans.

Christmas in the Park – Yukon City Park – Sat. beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Chickasha Festival of Light – Shannon Springs Park, Chickasha, OK – Sat. beginning at 6 p.m.

The Santa Market Craft Show – Downtown Edmond Community Center – Sat. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Midwest City Holiday Lights Spectacular – Joe B. Barnes Regional Park, Midwest City – Sun. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Quilts and Color – Oklahoma Museum of Art – Sun. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Percussion Consort – UCO Jazz Lab, Edmond OK – Sun. doors open at 7 p.m.
