More than half of Oklahomans have a favorable opinion of Governor Mary Fallin, according to an exclusive News 9/News On 6 poll.

We asked likely voters to give their opinion of the governor, about one year after her re-election.

Nearly 55 percent say they have a favorable opinion, but 32 percent say they have an unfavorable opinion. Thirteen percent have no opinion.

Fallin's favorability rating hasn't changed much since the last time we asked before her re-election in 2014.

"She's about 20 points below where both of our U.S. Senators are [in favorability] and that's significant in the aspect that all three of them represent the same state," says Bill Shapard, founder of SoonerPoll.com.

Fallin was sworn into office in January 2011, won re-election in 2014, but faces a term limit in 2018.

"[She] has lost some of her leadership luster in her lame-duck session. She's had nothing to lead on and she's not created that leadership and that's what the electorate is looking for."

Fallin defeated three challengers with 56 percent of the vote last November.

About the poll: SoonerPoll conducted the surveys by phone November 12-15, 2015 of 794 likely voters, registered to vote in Oklahoma. The margin of error is +/- 3.48 percent. The results were weighted by age, sex and political party and stratified to Oklahoma likely voter demographics.
