Oklahomans gathered Tuesday afternoon at the Oklahoma City National Memorial to remember the victims of recent terrorist attacks.

The Holocaust Remembrance and Restitution Foundation, Inc. co-sponsored the multi-cultural and multi-religious candlelight vigil and memorial service to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks at 1:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma City National Memorial Survivor Tree.

This memorial service included members of national, state, and local governments, including the governor's office, religious communities and cultural community leaders, delegates from the French government, as well as educational leaders from across the state.

The event also included a candlelight vigil, moments of silence and prayer, speeches from various people, and a time for the community to send condolences to the victims of recent terrorist attacks.

Those in attendance also applied their signatures to the Foundation's large sign, which will be sent to the French Parliament or the office of the Paris Mayor to show solidarity to those affected by recent terrorist attacks.
