We’re through nine weeks of the 2015 college football season, and for the Big 12, things are starting to take shape.OSU blasted TCU on Saturday and moves up to the No. 1 spot this week. Meanwhile, OU and Baylor prep for a showdown in Waco this Saturday.

1. Oklahoma State (9-0, 6-0)

People have doubted and questioned OSU all season long. They’ve criticized the Cowboys for a weak schedule and for not beating everyone by 40. How do you like ‘em now? OSU demolished TCU on Saturday and sent a message to the country in the process. The Cowboys are now the No. 5 team in the AP poll, all the way up from 12th.

2. Baylor (8-0, 5-0)

--

Baylor survived its first game without Seth Russell. Freshman Jarrett Stidham threw for 419 yards and three touchdowns to sneak past Kansas State on Saturday. His next test (Oklahoma) will have a much different feel to it.

3. Oklahoma (8-1, 5-1)

+1

OU continues to roll. The Sooners have dropped more than 50 in four straight games as they approach the meat of their schedule. If OU can go beat Baylor next Saturday, it could work its way back into the College Football Playoff conversation.

4. TCU (8-1, 5-1)

-3

It wasn’t that TCU lost in Stillwater – it was the way it happened. The Frogs got manhandled in all three phases, and things don’t look good moving forward. TCU lost star receiver Josh Doctson and he might not be back.

5. West Virginia (4-4, 1-4)

+1

The Mountaineers earned a huge win over Texas Tech to get win No. 4. WVU has four very winnable games remaining, so keep an eye on these guys moving forward.

6. Texas Tech (5-5, 2-5)

-1

Tech’s loss at WVU means that it will need to beat either Kansas State or Texas to become bowl-eligible. The Red Raiders have lost three straight.

7. Texas (4-5, 3-3)

--

Texas bounced back from its embarrassing performance at Iowa State with a win over Kansas, but it’s not enough to move up in this poll.

8. Iowa State (3-6, 2-4)

--

Iowa State was overwhelmed at OU on Saturday. The Cyclones now have a shot, for the second time in five seasons, to derail a potential championship season for Oklahoma State. ISU hosts the unbeaten Cowboys on Saturday.

9. Kansas State (3-5, 0-5)

--

Kansas State’s heartbreak continues. The Cats gave Baylor a bit of a scare, but in the end, lost their fifth straight Big 12 contest. The schedule does ease up from here, so a bowl game is still a possibility.

10. Kansas (0-forever)

--

The Jayhawks put up a solid fight in the first half at Texas but the inevitable was, well, inevitable.
