A person of interest in a hitchhiker homicide has yet to turn himself in to authorities, and now a search is underway both inside and outside the state.
Christopher Blake Scruggs remains a person of interest in the shooting death of 18-year-old Caylee Massey two weeks ago, but investigators can't find him.
Scruggs is also wanted in Logan County for allegedly beating a man with a gun so badly, he cracked his skull.
Logan County investigators say without a doubt, Scruggs is dangerous.
He allegedly beat the man unconscious leaving him to die. The victim spent days in the hospital with severe head injuries.

Logan County and OSBI investigators continue an active search.
“He has a lot of ties to areas within Oklahoma,” said Jessica Brown, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations. “We’re searching those areas of course, searching friends, family ties he may have, as well as outside the area and outside of Oklahoma.”
Most recently, Scruggs is wanted for questioning in the killing of Massey, shot to death inside a truck after she and another man picked up a hitchhiker in Oklahoma City.

Investigators have scoured the area where the shooting happened outside Canton, going through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb pulling out critical information.
“He has some knowledge about it, even second hand information. Anything would help us at this point in time,” said Brown. “We think that Mr. Scruggs may be able to help us ferret out the truth here.”
At this point, investigators don't believe Scruggs has left the state, or will leave the state, however they understand that is a possibility.
If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the OSBI or the Logan County Sheriff's office immediately.
