Police Respond To Shooting At NE OKC Motel

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are on the scene of a reported shooting at a motel just off Interstate 35 on the northeast side of the metro, Tuesday afternoon. 

Officers were called out to the scene at the Motel 6 located in the 12000 block of the N. I-35 Service Rd., just to the northeast of Frontier City.

One victim has been transported from the scene to a local hospital. According to preliminary reports, the incident may have started as an armed robbery that escalated to a shooting. 

Police have not said if they have a suspect in custody or if they are looking for someone. The condition of the victim is not known at this time.
