One Person Shot In Shawnee

One person was reportedly shot Monday night in Shawnee, police said.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of N Broadway.

A group of people were arguing in a bottom floor apartment when one person was kicked out of the apartment.

The person tried to get back into the apartment and was shot in the head.

The person was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

Police have detained the shooter.
