Crews Respond To Rollover Crash In Bethany

Emergency crews had to extract one person from their vehicle after a two-car crash in Bethany, Tuesday afternoon.

First responders were called out to the scene near NW 42nd St. and N. Rockwell Ave., north of the NW39th Expressway and west of Southern Nazarene University, just before 4 p.m.

Rescuers were working to extricate at least one person from one of the vehicles. So far News 9 is told one adult and one child were injured in the crash. The adult was transported to a local hospital by EMSA in unknown condition.

The cause has not yet been determined.

Crews with the Bethany and Warr Acres fire departments are responding. Authorities shut down Rockwell for about an hour while crews worked the scene.
