Police: Man Tries To Set Vehicle On Fire At OKC Gas Station

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A man tried to set his vehicle on fire early Monday morning at an Oklahoma City gas station.

According to police, it happened at the Flying J on N.E. 122nd and Interstate 35. The man reportedly doused his vehicle with gasoline and tried to set it on fire while he was inside.

Officers evacuated the gas station and called in the bomb squad to negotiate with the man. They eventually took him into custody. He was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.

No one was injured.
