SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -

A fire caused about $30,000 in damage to a home in Shawnee, Oklahoma, early Friday morning.

According to fire officials, at about 12:15 a.m., crews responded to the report of a house fire in the 300 block of S. Oklahoma. A neighbor saw the fire and called 911.

No one was inside the home at the time. Officials said the occupants are in the process of moving out.

Crews were able to put out the fire. Fire officials believe the fire started near the back of the home around the electrical box.
