OKLAHOMA CITY - Gulf moisture continues to feed into the low over the southwest U.S. This system is slowly tracking northeast and will bring the state some much needed rain.

Shower and storm chances stay in far western Oklahoma and in the panhandle Wednesday evening. There is a slight chance the rain makes it into central Oklahoma Wednesday night with temperatures dropping into the low 60s.

Clouds will lower and thicken early on Thursday. Showers and storms become likely across most of the state Thursday afternoon and evening.

We could see 1 to 3 inches of rain across parts of the state by Friday morning. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for overnight tonight all the way through Friday afternoon.
