Owasso Man Sentenced In Bank Fraud Scheme

An Owasso man was sentenced Friday to 14 months in prison in a bank fraud investigation. He must also pay over $1.1 million.

An Owasso man was sentenced Friday to 14 months in prison in a bank fraud investigation. Robert Alan Blaksley must also pay over $1.1 million after being convicted of defrauding IBC Bank, according to U.S. Attorney Danny C. Williams Sr. of the Northern District of Oklahoma.

Blaksley is the former CEO of Group Blaksley, LLC. Court documents state he and a co-defendant, Bruce Carlton Wright of Norman, submitted fraudulent invoices to the bank for work that was not done on a Bentonville, Arkansas property. Wright was convicted of conspiracy and 11 counts of bank fraud in May, 2015. 

Wright was sentenced to 33 months in prison for his role in the bank fraud scheme.
