Oklahoma City police are looking for two men who stole thousands of dollars worth of golf equipment from two different stores.
According to police, on Monday, officers responded to a larceny report at Dick's Sporting Goods, located at 14200 N. Penn. A manager told police that two male suspects have come into the store three times in the last three days, and stolen golf clubs, bags and clothing worth more than $1,300 in total.
The manager said the two would pull up to the store in a black BMW without a tag, and park the vehicle in the fire lane. One suspect would get out of the car and walk into the store where he quickly selects a few items from the golf section and then runs out. The other suspect would wait in the car.
According to police, the two have done the same thing at “Golfsmith” nearby.
Both suspects stand around 6 feet or 6 feet 1 inch tall and they are heavy set. Police said one suspect has a large mustache, and the other one is clean-shaven. Both men appear to be in their 20s or 30s. They were wearing polo shirts, blue jeans, Oakley sunglasses, and Titleist golf hats.
Police released a surveillance photo of one suspect. If you have any information, call or text Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300 (call) (405)-415-5666 (text.)
