OKLAHOMA CITY -

A man is recovering Tuesday morning after he was shot by two men during an attempted robbery in Oklahoma City.

At about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the area of S.W. 44th and Lee, after a man reported that he had been shot in his yard.

The victim told police that two men approached him and tried to rob him. He tried to run away, but was shot instead.

Oklahoma City police used Air One and K9 officers to look for the suspects. But so far, they haven't found them. The description of who they're looking for isn't very specific. We know both suspects are in their early 20s, one was wearing a black hoodie, the other was wearing a red t-shirt.

As for the victim, police aren't releasing his name but tell us he is stable and cooperating with the investigation.
