OKLAHOMA CITY -

An Oklahoma City man was arrested for allegedly taking photographs up a woman’s skirt while she shopped at a clothing store on the southwest side of the metro over the weekend.

The incident took place at the Marshalls in the 1400 block of W. I-240 Service Rd. around noon on Saturday. According to the report, the victim claims to have caught the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Ricardo Olivas, in the act.

In the report, the woman stated that she was wearing a dress and bent down to look for an item. She said while she was leaning over she thought she felt her dress move. When she turned around she says she saw Olivas bending down too, but was facing the other direction as if he was looking for an item as well.

The victim said she ignored it and continued shopping, but when she felt her dress move again, she said she turned around and saw a cell phone between her legs. She said she immediately stood up to confront Olivas, who she claimed was fumbling with his phone. The woman told police she felt he was trying to delete the photos, so she grabbed the phone from him and got store security involved.

Police were called and interviewed both the victim and Olivas. A witness in the store also told police that he saw Olivas put his cell phone between the victim’s legs.

The victim gave Olivas’ cell phone to police and officers placed him under arrest. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of Peeping Tom. He has since bonded out of jail.
