Steve Looks Ahead: Thunder Headed To Tulsa

The Oklahoma City Thunder make their annual trip to Tulsa on Tuesday when they play the Dallas Mavericks at the BOK Center at 7:00 pm. Teams usually try to give their players a break or two in the preseason, but I doubt Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant will skip this one.

On Sunday after practice, Head Coach Billy Donovan indicated he would like to increase the playing time for Kevin and Russell, holding pat at 22 minutes a game through the first two contests. My educated guess? Kevin and/or Russ will skip Friday's game at Memphis. The Dynamic duo is expected to sit down with the Thunder medical staff to evaluate playing time moving forward in the preseason.

Three point shooting is through the roof after two games, hitting 20 out of 43 attempts. Wouldn't that be nice if that trend holds true for the season?
