The Oklahoma City Thunder start preseason play in the same spot where their season ended back in April.

The Thunder, minus a few stars, defeated the Timberwolves 138-113 on April 15, but San Antonio sputtered and lost to New Orleans, propelling the Pelicans into the playoff and leaving Oklahoma City watching the postseason at home.

This time around OKC will bring Kevin Durant (injured) and Serge Ibaka (injured) to Minneapolis, along with a new coach staff led by Billy Donovan.  Remember back in April..... Dion Waiters started and scored a career-high 33 points at the Target Center. We'll see if Billy gives Dion the starting nod on Wednesday.

I haven't had the chance to give my thoughts on last Sunday's scrimmage, but I was very impressed with Waiters and rookie Cameron Payne. The downer? only one dunk in the game, is that right?  Serge Ibaka provided the fancy two.

I noticed on Twitter that Russell Westbrook had a sweet dunk in warm-ups, but I missed it. I was tweeting a picture of Durant when the crowd went nuts, I looked up too late and missed the Thunder dunk by Russ, oh well.

A reminder: OKC will make their preseason home debut Friday night against Fenerbahce Ulker at Chesapeake Arena.
