OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who robbed a clerk at a Wal-Mart store early Wednesday morning.

According to police, it happened at about 2:40 a.m. at Neighborhood Wal-Mart, located at 1500 S.W. 59th Street. The suspect reportedly went to the register and asked for cigarettes. He handed the clerk $10 for the cigarettes. However, when the clerk opened up the register, police said the suspect leaned over and took cash out of the register before running away from the scene.

Police said the suspect told the clerk four times that he had a gun. The clerk said he did not see a gun during the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his 40s with a gray, braided goatee. He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, red basketball shorts with black stripes, and a black baseball hat.

A K9 unit was out looking for the suspect. He has not been arrested at this time.

Police released a surveillance video of the incident. If you recognize this man, or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.

Callers can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
