OKC Police Investigate Shooting After Victim Walked Into Hospital

Police are investigating a shooting after a man with a gunshot wound walked into a southwest Oklahoma City hospital, police said.

Police are investigating a shooting after a man with a gunshot wound walked into a southwest Oklahoma City hospital, police said.

A Hispanic man went to the Southwest Integris Medical Center about 2 p.m. Sunday. After surgery, the man was taken to OU Medical Center for further treatment, police said.

Police investigated near the 2800 block of S Brookline Avenue and found the crime scene in the 2200 block of SW 28 Street. 

There is no suspect description at this time and police are working to get more details in the shooting, Oklahoma City police officer Travis Vernier said.
