OKC Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 5-Year-Old Girl

An Oklahoma City man is facing a child sex charge for an alleged incident with a 5-year-old girl back in February.

OKC Police arrested 30-year-old Gilbert Cabello on Sunday. Cabello is accused of molesting the girl as he babysat her while her father was on a date.

Police became involved after the girl told her mother that Cabello had touched her inappropriately. According to a report, Cabello initially denied doing anything sexual with the child but eventually admitted to the child’s father what he had done.  

Cabello was arrested Sunday evening at a home in southwest Oklahoma City, He refused to talk with police at the scene. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of Lewd Acts with a Child Under 14. Details on a possible bond were not available.
