Man Charged With Indecent Exposure, Assaulting Officer In OKC

A man has been charged with indecent exposure and assaulting a security officer following a disturbance at a Wal-Mart store in Oklahoma City.

A man has been charged with indecent exposure and assaulting a security officer following a disturbance at a Wal-Mart store in Oklahoma City.

According to police, at about 11:30 p.m. on September 7, officers responded to the report of a disturbance at Wal-Mart, located at 100 E. I-240 service road in Oklahoma City.

An OU police officer in full uniform, who was working as a security officer at the store, told police that the suspect, 40-year-old Isreal Rodriguez Jr., walked up to an employee and exposed himself.

The security officer said he attempted to detain Rodriguez, but Rodriguez punched him on the left side of his face.

Rodriguez was eventually taken into custody. On Friday, September 18, he has been charged with indecent exposure, assault and battery upon a police or other law officer, and assault and battery.
