Clear Tonight, Heat Continues Thursday Across OK

Skies will become mostly clear Wednesday night with temperatures falling to the low 70s.

The heat will continue Thursday with highs climbing to the low 90s under mostly sunny skies and a breezy south wind.

Relief finally comes on Friday with a cold front bringing showers, storms and cooler temperatures. Highs will top out in the mid-90s on Friday before the front comes through. Showers and storms look likely late Friday afternoon and into the evening. There is potential that some of these storms could become severe with strong wind and quarter size hail.
