A man died of a stroke after he was reportedly robbed at an Oklahoma City car wash, and the robbery suspects are now facing second-degree murder charges, Oklahoma City police reported.

According to police, at about 9:48 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, officers responded to the report of a man lying in a wash bay at a car wash, located at 4703 S. Walker Avenue.

Officers arrived and found the victim, 56-year-old Florencio Jimenez, unresponsive. He was transported to an area hospital where he died the following day.

Police later determined that Jimenez was robbed by two men at the car wash. During the robbery, Jimenez suffered a stroke, which police said ultimately led to his death.

Officers arrested both suspects, 20-year-old Adrian Walker and 22-year-old Quantray Burton, on Friday, September 11 on numerous robbery complaints. On Tuesday, September 15, homicide detectives added the charge of second-degree murder to both suspects’ list of booking complaints.

Jimenez’s death is Oklahoma City’s 60th homicide of 2015, according to police.
