A newly released video shows a possible person of interest in an unsolved homicide case where a truck driver was found dead.

The homicide was discovered July 9 at the Checkers truck stop on E Reno Avenue and Martin Luther King Avenue.

That's when two truck drivers found a man dead inside a tractor-trailer in the parking lot.

Now, police have released a surveillance video of a man they'd like to talk to and identify. It was taken at the Greyhound bus station across the street.

In the surveillance video, the man can be seen as he walks out of the restrooms inside the Greyhound bus station and when he walks over to the windows and looks outside for a bit.

Police want to question him since he was in the area when Antonio Chavez, 44, was found dead.

“We're looking for this particular individual because he may have information to who may be responsible for the homicide,” Oklahoma City police Sgt. Ashley Peters said.

Turns out, Chavez was from Phoenix, Arizona, and was just passing through on a job.

According to the original police report, two other out-of-state truckers are the ones who initially discovered his truck which was up on a curb. They called police when they saw the body inside.

Now, this man may have the answers police need to answer the question who killed Antonio Chavez and why.

Anyone with information about the man or the homicide is asked to call the homicide tip line at (405) 297-1200.
