Two Small Earthquakes Shake Central Oklahoma

Two small earthquakes have been recorded in Central Oklahoma, Saturday morning.

Two small earthquakes have been recorded in Central Oklahoma, Saturday morning.

The first 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 5:55 a.m. Its epicenter was located two miles north northeast of Crescent, 11 miles northwest of Guthrie, and 23 miles north northwest of Edmond. It was about five miles deep.

The second 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 8:47 a.m. Its epicenter was located seven miles south southeast of Guthrie, nine miles northeast of Edmond, and 21 miles northeast of Warr Acres. It was about two and a half miles deep.

No injuries or damages associated with either quake have been reported.
